Emergency Response Training

O'Gara specializes in the development and implementation of effective homeland security training programs for today's emergency responders. Regardless of discipline or current training level, we work closely with your jurisdiction's emergency responders in order to maximize your jurisdiction's ability to identify, detect, deter, respond to, mitigate and recover from potential acts of terrorism, weapons of mass destruction, pandemic influenza, and natural disasters.

Our team is comprised of highly qualified professionals with extensive backgrounds in emergency response and crisis/incident management, as well as “hands-on” application of the National Incident Management System (NIMS) Incident Command System (ICS). Most of our staff has personally served on Incident Commands in various roles, such as Incident Commander, Operations Section Chief, and several other Emergency Responder positions.

O'Gara is currently providing ongoing support to the U.S. Department of State, Weapons of Mass Destruction Division. This includes conducting WMD Countermeasures Response Training, Exercises, and reviewing Threat and Vulnerability Assessments for 256 U.S. Embassies and Consulates.

We are also presently providing comprehensive NIMS-ICS 100, 200, 300, 400, 401, 402, and multiple advanced Position-Specific ICS courses to the entire State of Nevada. The attendees come from first responder organizations, state and local government, and private industry. These courses are held through out the state and include all first responders.
