O'Gara combines real-world emergency responder experience with recognized, industry best practices to provide challenging, yet realistic all-hazards exercises. We offer economical and effective exercise design, development, conduct and evaluation services in strict adherence with all U.S. Department of Homeland Security guidelines (HSEEP). These training programs are designed to provide realistic evaluations of all response disciplines and their response plans in an effort to enhance response capabilities and overall community preparedness for events such as:

Over the last 5-years, O'Gara has planned, developed, conducted, and written detailed After-Action reporting and Improvement Plans for a series of Table-Top and Full Scale Exercises for the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) which has diverse scenarios that could affect the nation’s 5th largest public transportation system. In particular, we have exercised multiple WMD attacks on the system’s infrastructure, to include simulated detonations of a IEDs, VBIEDs and RDDs, Hostage Situation, Active Shooter, and Pandemic Influenza. Agencies participating in these various exercises have included the MARTA Police Department, MARTA Rail, Bus and Station Services, Atlanta Police Department, Atlanta Fire Department, Federal Bureau of Investigations, Cobb County Police Department, DeKalb County, Georgia Emergency Management Agency (GEMA) and Atlanta-Fulton County Emergency Management Agency.
