The "Consulate" is a 3200 square foot structure with "post and beam steel construction". The interior is framed as an office building, with rooms, offices and hallways. The walls are 2 inch plywood and painted white (to simulate drywall construction). Standard office doors and windows are placed appropriately throughout the building. The ceiling is "drop-ceiling".

The "School" is a 7500 square foot, "L" shaped building with "post and beam steel construction". The interior is framed as a school, with classrooms, offices and wide hallways. The walls are 2 inch plywood and painted white (to simulate drywall construction). Standard office doors and windows are placed appropriately throughout the building. The ceiling is "drop-ceiling".

There is approximately 840 feet of paved roadway, 22 feet wide, around and between these buildings to support vehicle scenarios on asphalt.

Each building, as well as each room therein, has closed circuit television (CCTV), speakers, and lights that may be adjusted and monitored from a control room inside the building. Users are able to monitor and record all of the activity within each room simultaneously. An exterior pan/tilt camera, outside each building, picks up activity on the approach and departure from all buildings. From each building's control room, noise can be introduced to any or all rooms and light can be turned on, off, or dimmed. O'Gara-SSI's digital camera system permits real time observation from the control room, adjacent classrooms, and remotely via secure internet connection.
