Our assessments are among the most thorough and comprehensive that can be found anywhere in the world based on the extensive background of our professional staff members who have a wealth of real-world experience with WMD, Counterterrorism, Intelligence, Security and Law Enforcement, Public Health, Emergency Management, etc. We hold numerous nationally-recognized assessment certifications such as: DHS ACAMS, HLS-CAM, CARVER, RAM-W, RAM-C, RAM-CF, HFSAI (developed by O'Gara for the U.S. Healthcare Sector), and R-4 (developed by O'Gara to incorporate Risk, Readiness, Response and Recovery).

Our staff members have conducted several hundred Comprehensive, All-Hazard Threat, Security, Vulnerability, and Risk Assessments for clients around the world. In particular, O'Gara has performed hundreds of security assessments for Critical Infrastructure/Key Resources (CI/KR), including over 240 U.S. embassies and consulates around the globe. Our team combines real-world, hands-on experience with proven methodology to provide the most accurate assessment possible. Our security experts are some of the most qualified individuals in the world with experience ranging from former U.S. Intelligence Agencies, U.S. Department of State, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Department of Defense and the Secret Service.

Critical Infrastructure Protection

We possess a solid understanding of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) National Infrastructure Protection Plan (NIPP), and apply its latest standards to our products and services. As an example of our experience, several of our staff members are certified in the DHS ACAMS (Automated Critical Asset Management System) which provides state, local, and private entities with a practical way to implement the NIPP, including the "NIPP Risk Management Framework." We are one of the few—if not the only—private firm who has completed multiple (170) assessments in ACAMS.

*Health Facility Security Assessment Tool (HFSAI):

The State of Florida has adopted the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Automated Critical Asset Management System (ACAMS) as its tool for standardizing critical infrastructure assessments across the state. However, the ACAMS does not provide facility owners with written reports describing the assessed conditions of their facilities. To ensure that there is a tool for standardized healthcare security assessments across the state, the Florida Department of Health (FDOH) turned to O'Gara for its development and implementation.

In late 2010, O'Gara delivered the fully functioning HFSAI to the State, and has since applied it to more than (40) critical healthcare facilities throughout Florida. This comprehensive security assessment instrument was designed to be used at the time of an ACAMS Initial Asset Visit (IAV) or can be completed independently. It has been incredibly well received and has provided facility owners with formal and detailed reports on the observed conditions of their facilities.
